The gorgeous Pagsanjan falls!

Me and my family experienced an unforgetable lifetime adventure and been born on this river. Our journey back down the valley over the rapids is much quicker than the ride up. We're ferried to the enthralling Pagsanjan falls in native bancas paddled by expert boatmen. A canoe "banca" ride paddled and pushed by 2 skillfull "banqueros" takes us from a slow circuitous path river through a steep-sided narrow chasm and over several rapids. They expertly hop from rock to rock pushing the boat up the rapids with brawny and powerfully built feet.


If you take the trip, be prepared to get wet, bring extra clothing, and be sure to protect your camera. Water runs deep and strong at the Pagsanjan River. Stay here and admire the spectacle and get wet going over the waterfalls with a bamboo raft.
