The classic way to travel around Europe is self-drive car, chance in getting our preferred stop over, I must say that these experiences was greatly different. Perfect sky brightened up our day. Most European roads and motorways are state of the art. Our first stop was in Torino, Italy we arrived around lunch time... The lunch was exactly what we wanted and everything went as planned, Hubby and I visited our friends around the place... We wanted to stay longer but our next stop was a little far to drive.... (to be continued) Motorists will be charged every time they pass through this toll gate.... arrrggh! additional travel expense(s), but toll gate helps control the volume of traffic.

There's a reason why so many families tell and re-tell the stories of long-road-trips. Driving in European countries and other big cities are greatly different experiences, and the travel destination is a wonderful convenience. Europeans parking is everywhere, sidewalks and the middle of streets are used which appropriately fits the car, but cars are often ticketed __ particularly not towed, unless they are obstructing the traffic. My husband and I recently stayed in Hotel Garni Millenium the hotel is just infront of the beautiful Lago Maggiore, in the heart of Locarno which is famous for its Mediterranean climate in Switzerland, an ideal place for splendid pleasurable trip to the Lake "Lago Maggiore" and to the surrounding mountains and valleys. A superb location since the Hotel is closely fronting the lake of Locarno "Lago Maggiore". The room is tastefully decorated (personalized gold plated knobs under the name of the hotel) that create a welcoming ambience. Breakfast was also excellent, the food served in a light dainty room. An excellent hotel, in an excellent location and very well priced. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to the owner , he was very accommodating to us from check-in to check-out. We been to Pisa Italy last weekend, to heap on most of the famous Pisa's many landmarks one of that is the marble Leaning Tower . Hubby and me been driving all day and taking our time in driving carefully because many parts of Tuscany region in Italy have hills many roads wind up and down most of the roads are provincial with a single lane in each direction. Italy is the perfect and beautiful country full of interesting things to travel . Have many tourist spots and for the casual tourist and the educated tourist, lots of tourist attractions like museums, modern art and some other attractions concerning Italian cultural life.
