You have the same blue sky as we have here now since a few weeks and that's more than unusual for Belgium ! We have these flowers too, but I don't know the name !
Not only are they beautiful but they have so many medicinal uses. Hid you know that sponging hives with an infusion of lightly crushed elderflowers gets rid of the swelling as well as the dscolouration even when they have been cause by an allergic reaction to antibiotics?
We recently traveled to London, is the place to be!!!!! We are so glad that we ( (me and my family) had the perfect sunny weather to enjoy this beautiful City. ... more stories next time! I’ve been through times when I didn’t post to my blog for more than a month – life just got in the way. I am very much quickwittedly busy, took me that long to make a blog post, it's great to be back! Thank you so much for your visits, when I was out of the loop.
Like all other areas across Europe, every city has good and bad sides. Today has no oddity, it was extremely hot, hot, hot! I'm really getting sick of this hot weather....
I love Paris! I had seen the Eiffel Tower many times in photographs before my first trip to Paris. The Eiffel Tower is undoubtedly very beautiful and the most exhilarating awesome landmarks in Europe. The Eiffel Tower just unambiguously took my breath away when my husband proposed to me at the top of the Eiffel Tower whiles we are looking out over the beautiful city. Just remembering those special jiffies life in Paris, walking by the river Seine during nighttime and sitting by the Eiffel Tower while smacking a dainty crepe. We spent our spacious time traveling via Paris Metropolitan "Le Metro". I may say, I overcome the overpowering and formidable subway complex of the city. We enjoyed it so much!
In California our native elderberry is protected as it is host to an endangered beetle.

ReplyDeleteThese remind me of the wildflowers we call Queen Anne's Lace. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe juice these flowers can produce is delicious--the nectar of youth! Beautiful photos.
