The common source of vitamins was the foods that we ate. I just wanted to know more about.... Vitamin sources.
• Vitamin A: beef, fish liver oils, chicken liver, eggs, whole milk...
• Thiamine (vitamin B1): brewer's yeast, meats, poultry, whole grain cereals, nuts, legumes...
• Riboflavin (vitamin B2): asparagus, milk, lean meat, green leafy vegetables, mushrooms, oysters...
• Vitamin B3 (niacin):beef liver and kidney, beets, brewer's yeast, pork, turkey, chicken, veal, fish...
• Vitamin B5: organ meats, eggs, fish and shellfish, lobsters, poultry, soybeans, lentils...
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine): grains, bread, liver, cereals, spinach, green beans, and bananas...
• Vitamin B12: cottage cheese, eggs, liver, tuna, yogurt...
• Amygdalin (vitamin B17): apple, nectarine apricot, peach,cherry, orange, plums...
• Beta-carotene: apricots, carrots, cantaloupe, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, winter squashes...
• Inositol: wheat germ, brewer's yeast, bananas, liver, brown rice oak flakes, nuts, vegetables, and raisins...
• Carnitine: red meat, fish, poultry, tempeh, wheat, asparagus, avocados, and peanut butter...
• Para-aminobenzoic acid: bran, eggs, kidney, liver, molasses, wheat germ, brewer's yeast, yogurt...
• Vitamin C: asparagus, broccoli, green peppers, red peppers, cabbage, kale, cauliflower, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams...
• Vitamin D: sunlight, milk (fortified), cheese, whole eggs, liver, salmon...
• Vitamin E: vegetable oils, such as corn oil, soy oil, peanut oil...
• Biotin: beans, breads, brewer's yeast, cauliflower, chocolate, egg yolks, fish, kidney, legumes, liver...
• Alpha-lipoic acid: kidney, heart, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes...
• Vitamin K: asparagus, broccoli, brussels sprouts, collard greens, spinach, salad greens...
• Folic acid: asparagus, spinach, dark leafy greens, turnip, beet and mustard greens, brewers yeast, liver...
More than 13, naughty naughty! ;-) Very interesting nevertheless.
